the annual South by Southwest Music conference.

2006 Kerrville New Folk Finalist!!!
Jason was selected as one of the 32 finalists (out of
roughly 800 entrants) for the New Folk Competition held annually
at the renowned Kerrville Folk festival in Texas. The
competition was started by Peter Yarrow in 1972 and
several notable performers have participated over the
years including Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin, Lucinda
Williams, John Gorka, David Wilcox and Nancy Griffith.

Jason chosen for the 2006 Falcon Ridge Folk Fest. Emerging Artist Preview Tour!Jason will be heading out on a two week tour of the east coast in May of 2006 as part of the festival's
popular "Most Wanted Tour. Each year, the festival's audience is polled and the top 4 most popular emerging artists are selected for the tour. Jason will be joined by fellow songwriters; Kym Tuvim, Chris Pureka, and Jim Infantino.

Jason wins New England
Songwriting Contest at the
Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Fest!
Jason was announced as the
winner out of 20 finalists in the songwriting competition
at this year's Ossipee Bluegrass Festival in
Cornish, Maine. The Audience chose Jason's song
"Big Black Hole."
